Habitat for Humanity is NOT a home give-away program.

We are NOT looking for people with their hand out.

hard-working families

who need a hand-up.

I am WILLING TO PARTNER WITH HABITAT VOLUNTEERS and I UNDERSTAND I WILL HAVE THESE OBLIGATIONS: I am willing to complete the required 250 - 500 “Sweat-Equity” labor hours on the construction of my home or other assigned work. I agree to attend home ownership workshops, attend credit counseling, and submit all requested paperwork in a timely manner.

I have the ABILITY TO MAKE A $300 - $500 MONTHLY MORTGAGE PAYMENT. I have no liens or judgments outstanding against me. I have not had a bankruptcy in the last 2 years.

I have been a RESIDENT OF DALLAS COUNTY, MO for at least one (1) year
I have WORKED for at least one (1) year and/or I have a stable monthly income
I have FINANCIAL NEED AND MY HOUSING IS SUBSTANDARD: Examples: A) I cannot qualify for traditional lender financing; B) My current living situation is unhealthy, unsafe or overcrowded; C) I have accessibility issues
My household INCOME FALLS BETWEEN THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM amount for my family size, according to the Gross Income Limits chart. (see below)
